Hotel interior design was completed by the Wrocław Branch Office of our Company under the supervision of Łukasz Kłak, the Wrocław Branch Office Manager. See the description of the project and the photo gallery showing the final effect of our work.
Who was our customer?
Our services were ordered by MC Diam, a company delivering services to the “Uroczysko Siedmiu Stawów” luxury hotel complex. The Hotel is located in the Lower Silesia Region, in the area of the City of Niemcza. The Hotel is located in a magnificent historical castle which has undergone an in-depth renovation in recent years. In addition to the accommodation the Hotel also offers SPA & Wellness services and rents conference facilities to the corporate customers. The investment project was supported financially by the European Union funds.
The first contact with our Customer took place in March 2013. During the discussions we were requested, among others, to present furniture catalogues – including in particular chairs – that would be used during project implementation.
Why was our offer selected to deliver the project?
First and foremost, our customer was very keen on purchasing high quality furniture. At the same time during the talks the customer emphasized the need to complete the assignment as quickly as possible – within three to four weeks maximum. Despite the fact that all furniture selected for the project implementation was unique, meaning tailor-made, we were able to commit to deliver it within timeframe set by the client. It was one of the main factors which led to selecting our offer.
Scope of works and product range used
To equip the premises according to the project requirements we used catalogue furniture – including chairs and mobile folding tables – and, as mentioned above, furniture with natural veneers which was tailor made. Below we provide a list of delivered elements and facilities where interior design efforts were underway:
Hotel interior design – project completion
In this particular project, the furniture design was delivered by the customer. Hotel interior design was made by a third party interior designer, not working for our Company, but hired by the Investor.
The project completion comprised three phases:
- Phase One – interior design of conference room.
- Phase Two – interior design of a bar in the restaurant.
- Phase Three – interior design of massage parlours in the SPA area.
The SPA&Wellness wing of the “Uroczysko Siedmu Stawów“ Hotel comprises a swimming pool, therefore the furniture we delivered required application of superior quality waterproof materials.
All catalogue furniture used by us during project completion was delivered in assembled condition, whereas customized furniture made to order was assembled on site by our personnel. The furniture was made in a factory by approximately twenty people, whereas on the hotel site there were six-person teams working on different shifts, since deadline for interior design completion was very short.
Customized furniture was assembled effectively and fully in compliance with the guidelines of the architectural design. Given the shape and texture of the old castle walls, some elements had to be cut to size and fitted to the interiors. All adjustments were already considered during the furniture manufacturing phase, therefore on site we adapted furniture to the interiors in a trouble-free manner.
Summary
The major challenge during this project was a very tight implementation schedule set by the customer, especially since the ordered furniture was not standard and made of sophisticated materials. We organized all works perfectly and utilized every minute of our precious time. At the end of the day, the works were completed on time, without any stress for us and the client, two hours before the arrival of first hotel guests. It was not our first project where we had to work under big time pressure. We are prepared to do that both in terms of logistics and human resources – the same activity during project implementation may be performed by different personnel members operating two different shifts. Thus we avoid work stoppages and perform all work with utmost care for superior quality. The hotel interior design project was completed successfully. Please check for yourself that what we have just said is not groundless and make your own judgement about our work by browsing photos, which are in the photo gallery bookmark.
