Beginnings
Perhaps it may sound trivial, but in all honesty Office Plus would never come into existence on the Polish market in 1998 if it hadn’t been for the first customers who entrusted me. As the creator of the initial idea, the founder and the president of the company, I have more experience in the industry of designing and arranging offices than what one may seem looking purely at the number of years Office Plus has been operating. In fact, I was an observer and co-developer of the services that we are now providing in Poland in this industry.
Several years ago, while I was working as an office design and implementation specialist in a different company, I realised the services provided could be improved. I believed the ideas and plans for new office designs could be more innovative and creative, offer more functionality, be more aesthetically pleasing and interesting; the relationship with the client could be more intimate and their needs be more accurately met in order to provide optimal solution for the price quoted. Customers became more and more focused on cost-effective solutions as the economy was slow and Poland was going through economic crisis.
In order to fulfil my ambition I had to establish my own company and implement brand new procedures for providing customer service, increase the variety of products available, hire new creative employees who shared my vision and values. I was inspired by the fact that my current customers, those to whom I was very devoted and developed outstanding relationships with, encouraged me to start my own business. As soon as Office Plus started operating, the same customers were the ones who placed first big orders. I do hope that for those who have read these few paragraphs, the initial reference I made to the trust I received no longer appears insignificant.
Development
I was never afraid of investing. I decided that regardless of the speed at which the economy develops, the market in Poland is still growing. New investors including many foreign companies with high expectations were arriving and therefore my priority would be to constantly increase the level of services provided by Office Plus and I was keen on investing in order to achieve this purpose. Our first office was located in Mokotów, Warsaw, then we moved to a newer, more spacious and modern site, the one in which we are residing presently. At the same time, new branches were opened in Cracow, Gdansk, Wrocław and Lódź.
I was also focused on developing logistics (own warehouses and transportation), professional assembly teams (trainings and equipment) and of course having service teams available across the country – all that I considered the basics for provision of high quality service to the customers in this industry.
I also understood that apart from good “tools” to provide excellent customer service, we must also have an outstanding product range. These products should make the designs created by Office Plus stand out thanks to their functionality and aesthetics. The range should be wide and cater for various needs and tastes as well as various budgets. Nowadays, we provide several hundreds of office furniture in several products lines. Moreover, we can deliver bespoke furniture designed mainly for managerial rooms or other representative spaces in the offices. Our furniture includes innovative solutions, some of which are brand new in Poland and which we are proud of. Modern multimedia form an important part of the equipment in any office these days and are crucial for increasing the level of functionality. I dare say they also make them more prestigious. Thus, due to many investments and years of hard work, we are now able to offer cutting edge designs. The projects we develop meet high international standards.
Office Plus at the present time
Our Group hires over 50 front office employees. The company’s operating profit is of considerable amount which confirms our steady growth, and our customers include many well-recognised companies worldwide.
